🏥 Medical Standard / चिकित्सा मानक
✅ Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
- Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 120 minutes
- Total Questions: 100 (Objective Type – MCQs)
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer
- Normalization of marks will be done for multi-shift exams
- Shortlisting for CBAT: 8 times the vacancies (RRB-wise)
- Stage 2: Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
- Only candidates who qualify in CBT will be called for CBAT
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum T-Score of 42 in each test battery
- No negative marking in CBAT
- Questions available in English and Hindi only
- Vision Certificate required at the time of CBAT

⚖️ Tie-Breaker Rule / टाई-ब्रेकर नियम
In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in the combined merit (CBT + CBAT):
- Step 1: Candidate senior in age will be placed higher in merit.
- Step 2: If age is also same, alphabetical order (A to Z) of the given name (not surname) will be considered.

📌 How to Apply Online / ऑनलाइन आवेदन कैसे करें?
- Visit the Official Portal: Open rrbapply.gov.in
- Create an Account (New Users): If you don't have an account, register with your personal mobile number and email ID.
- Login: Use your credentials to log in. Candidates who have already registered for earlier CENs (2024/2025/2026) should use the same account.
- Authenticate Identity: Use DigiLocker or Aadhaar for faster verification. If not, alternate Photo IDs will require stricter scrutiny.
- Capture Live Photograph: Use your webcam or mobile camera. Ensure clear face, both ears visible, eyes open against a light-coloured background.
