✅ Refund / वापसी: Local residents of Chhattisgarh who appear in the examination/interview will get their examination fee refunded to the account entered during the application process. Portal fee, GST, and service charges are non-refundable.

📌 Age Relaxation / आयु में छूट (Category-wise / श्रेणीवार):
⚠️ Important / महत्वपूर्ण: All age relaxations combined shall not exceed 45 years maximum age limit.

🎓 Educational Qualification / शैक्षणिक योग्यता
- Essential Qualification (आवश्यक योग्यता):
- Postgraduate degree (MD / MS / DNB) in the concerned specialty (Psychiatry) from a recognized university.
- The degree must be recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) – now National Medical Commission (NMC).
- OR equivalent qualification recognized by MCI / NMC.
- Registration (पंजीयन):
- Valid & active registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) OR any State Medical Council.
- Important Note (महत्वपूर्ण नोट):
- Candidates must possess all required educational qualification certificates, experience, and other eligibility certificates on or before the last date of online application (19 August 2026).
- No certificate is required to be attached with the online application. All documents will be verified at the time of document verification.

✅ Additional Benefits: Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances as per State Government rules will be applicable.

⏳ Probation Period / परिविक्षा अवधि
Selected candidates will be appointed on a probation period of 03 years.
चयनित अभ्यर्थियों की नियुक्ति 03 वर्ष की परिविक्षा पर की जाएगी।
✅ Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
The selection will be done through the following process:
- Written Examination (if applicable) / लिखित परीक्षा (यदि लागू हो)
- If the number of applications is high, a written examination will be conducted.
- यदि आवेदनों की संख्या अधिक होती है तो लिखित परीक्षा आयोजित की जाएगी।
- Exam Center: Raipur / परीक्षा केन्द्र: रायपुर
- परीक्षा योजना एवं पाठ्यक्रम बाद में प्रकाशित किया जाएगा।
- Note: CGPSC may conduct Computer Based Test (CBT) instead of traditional pen-paper exam.
- आयोग परम्परागत परीक्षा के स्थान पर कम्प्यूटर बेस्ड टेस्ट (CBT) आयोजित कर सकेगा।
- Interview / साक्षात्कार
- If the number of applications is manageable, direct interview will be conducted.
- यदि आवेदनों की संख्या कम है तो सीधे साक्षात्कार द्वारा चयन किया जाएगा।
- Minimum Qualifying Marks (Interview):
- General / OBC: 33 marks (out of 100)
- SC / ST: 23 marks (out of 100)

- Visit the Official Website: Open psc.cg.gov.in
- Registration (New Users): Click on "Candidate's Registration" and fill in your details (Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, etc.).
- Generate OTP: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID. Enter the OTP to verify.
- Live Photo Capture: Capture your live photograph using your mobile/web camera. Ensure your face is clearly visible with both ears and open eyes against a light-coloured background.
- Upload Signature: Upload your signature in .JPG format (Max 100 KB) – use black ballpoint pen on white paper.
- Fill Application Form: Click on "Apply" for the desired post and fill in all the required details carefully.
- Pay Application Fee: Pay the prescribed fee through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking / UPI.
- Submit Application: After successful payment, submit the application. Check that the Application Status shows "Submitted" and Payment Status shows "Paid".
- Take Printout: Take a printout of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.

• Correction can be done only once in each window.

• In Paid Correction, candidates can correct only Gender, Date of Birth, Category, Domicile, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen related entries.
• सशुल्क त्रुटि सुधार में अभ्यर्थी केवल लिंग, जन्मतिथि, श्रेणी, मूल-निवासी, दिव्यांग एवं भूतपूर्व सैनिक संबंधी प्रविष्टियों में सुधार कर सकेंगे।
• If a candidate changes from Reserved to Unreserved category, the difference in fee must be paid. No refund if changed from Unreserved to Reserved.
• यदि अभ्यर्थी आरक्षित से अनारक्षित श्रेणी में बदलता है तो शुल्क का अंतर देना होगा। अनारक्षित से आरक्षित में बदलने पर कोई वापसी नहीं होगी।
